Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

on my list of things to do. Most LBS in Budapest use the "eyeball/experience" method...coming back to Canada this summer, will look for a place that does proper fitting...

Here is mine all built up...

I was a little surprised the weight with pedals came in at 19.5lbs. Especially since it's all carbon including steer tube. Guess the 105 set and aksium wheels are a little heavy.

2014 Fuji Feather CX 1.1. First non-mountain bike and a pure joy to ride. I also posted it in the black bike thread. More of a gravel/commuter bike than a true cross bike. Hope to get out on some off road trails in the West Michigan area soon.

Joining the Ridley crew; bought this last December and got some climbing feet on it; mostly road use (so excuse the Gatorskin tyres!)

Swapped the FSA chainrings out for a black set of Praxis rings

Get it done yet? Don't be so sure it's the "wrong size" because of the stand over. Even a m/l seems big on me if I just flat foot it in sneakers at an lbs. Yet a go a size up and the large feels perfect while actually riding, and the stand over in proper shoes feels fine. Then again, my snort inseam and long arms/torso are used to riding traditional 58 cm bikes that foot about the same, and I prefer a good stretch...

Edit: whoops you're done. Looks nice.

Thanks, the size works for me even got a professional fit at the lbs that put all the parts together for me. I've already logged about 300 miles since it's been finished. Great trail bike.

Hello from Belgium!

Obviously there are plenty of local cyclocross bike manufacturers here in Belgium, but still, I was drawn to a legendary American frame, which I built up with SRAM Force, TRP brakes, DT Swiss/Tune wheels and a lot more Ritchey stuff. It rides brilliantly, especially on longer rides. For proper cx racing, carbon fibre is the way to go, but I use this bike on 2-3 hour rides where my friends are on MTBs, and on anything bar very rocky downhills, they are at a disadvantage.

Congrats! I almost bought the same bike but instead I bought a CAAD10 given that I already have a CX bike. Very nice choice!

Just bought my 1st bike in decades. Came across CX because I didn't want limits and I primarily ride on roads. Got a cheap one, but I love it. Such a good stress reliever.
Jamis Nova Sport. The only change I made so far is the seat. Went with an ISM Adamo. That's it so far... I'd love to do a CX race, if I can get my stamina up more...

photo to uploading from my phone keeps failing. Wtf?

Maybe a pink rear derailleur cable... or a pink chainstay protector to balance the color, something subtle.

My new CX bike

I picked this up as both a road & gravel bike. I don't plan on any CX racing as of now, but just to get out more.

This is my new cross-bike. My first fast bike - my others are a mtb and a hybrid. But the reach is too far - have to replace the stem. Not sure how to post pics properly.
