Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Finally took the CX bike I picked up just before my trip OS on its first jaunt along the Yarra river single tracks yesterday. Got a few odd looks from the MTB riders coming the other direction...

Stock 2010 Colnago World Cup except the Ultegra compact crank and Enduro Ceramic BB fitted by the previous owner.

Changes by me so far was to replace the saddle with an SLR, retape the bars and fit a longer stem.

Will look at rotating the bars down and drop some spacers shortly.

This is the bike I used for my first cyclocross race last year. I didn't count on the mud jamming up the front wheel. Since
then I have used have used a couple of other bikes, and planning a better plan for next year. This was the bike I used in most of my road races in the 80's with a few modifications.

just do not believe Ridley measurements, this 54 size has stand over height 830mm not 870mm Ridley claims.

Jeez, I thought my chain was short!

That's the lightest TI 2x10 cross bike I've ever heard of. Well done.

I seem to be selling off my road bikes and adding more cross bikes...even have a custom cross(ish) frame in the works.

IF Planet X - My favorite

Soma Double Cross Disc

Raleigh Team Cross (recently gave this to a buddy)

Trek XO1 (new build, don't think I like it, will probably sell off the frameset at least)

The IF is nice but I love that Soma build. Lovely fenders. I considered a DC Disc build recently but ended up going off the shelf. Next time
