Hello. New guy here. Lots of great bikes here. Here is my (new to me) 2011 Cannondale Hi-Mod SuperX 'cross bike (52 cm). Got a great deal on it so I had to get it.
BallisTech Hi-Mod full carbon frame and fork, Sram Rival shifters, front and rear derailleurs, FSA SL-K Light carbon BB30 crankset (46/36), switched stock bars with Deda Newton, Mavic Ksyrium Equipe hubs and wheels, Continental CX RACE tires. I want to upgrade the saddle, get some clipless pedals, and purchase a decent computer (any suggestions?)
It's been ages since I've owned a bike. I did a lot of mountain biking and bmx biking when I was much younger and I'm discovering that I still enjoy beating the hell out of my bikes.
I'm having a blast and feel like a kid again!

I bought one from Nashbar that didn't fit right, so I sent it back. Owner of a local (tiny) shop had this in the back, was willing to part w/ it for 800, after tax. Fits me perfectly, rides like a charm. It was an easy buy...hope to get out on it after work tomorrow.
I plan on changing out the rings and cassette fairly soon to 34/50 and 11-32 probably, and put on some wider handlebars as these are a bit narrow for my tastes. Next winter may come some used Campy shifters and a Travel Agent as I really prefer those to the Shimano ones. Or possibly RetroShifts. We'll see how I take to the Ultegras over time.

This is our road frame that seems to be doubling as our XC frame. Had not thought of doing so until we bought the bike and discovered our clearances were big enough to play with. And as it turns out, the wife much prefers (at this point) our XC adventures over our regular road runs.

pretty stoked about it being back together now.
FSA omega compacts, FSA SL-K cantis and SRAM carbon levers are the only component changes from last year. new bartape/cables/tires.
based on scientific method of holding the bike while on a scale and then subtracting your weight its 19.8lbs

New guy here!
My new Redline Carbon Conquest team set up for the road. Will switch out the chainrings for 'cross when the season comes along, but racing the road with it for now.
I'll admit I was a bit worried about getting a carbon cross bike, but this thing has held up well. Outside of road rides, I've been throwing my knobbies on it and taking it my local single track. It handles really well on dirt and the road. I'm excited to see how it does on a true 'cross course.

Yes I know its in roadie mode... but none of my friends have CX bikes so it see's more road time than it should.... I just finished it about 3 weeks ago, and I love it soooo much... my first complete spec, buy, build everything...

My son's Gary Fisher Presidio Cyclocross Bike.
Last spring he rode home from Niagara Falls to Montauk in 6 days averaging 125 per day. He decided the Gary Fisher was the one to take over his Road or Tri bike.
He also races it at times.

Made some tweaks to my cross bike. It's in road mode right now, but will get cross tires put on shortly as I start training for D2R2 on dirt roads.

Just realized I have not shared either of my CX bikes. I race occasionally but have really just started my 30 mile RT commute on both of them regularly again. Looking to take one of them (have not decided which) on a fabulous 80 mile route (Emmett/HorseShoe Bend) this weekend.
Here is my 2010 Jake The Snake out for its 100 mile shake down ride last spring.
Here is my Major Jake in full winter commute mode. I have since updated it with Ultegra 6600 10 spd, canti brakes (avid shortys), and a pair of EA 90 SL wheels. I get a crazy shudder sometimes on this front brake which a fork mounted hanger helped out with on the JTS but this fork has no crown hole and I am not sure I want to drill it. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Oh, and just for fun, here is a little lesson I learned the hard way about rear der, maintenance.

Here's mine. Just got it earlier this month, so only about 100 miles on it so far. Absolutely love it. Only changes so far are Avid Shorty Ultimate brakes and Lizard Skins bar tape. Wasnt a big fan of the white saddle, so put one of my old ones on.
Next up is rims. Any suggestions? I'm a heavy rider (230+ lbs) and not to sure how the stock Rovals will hold up once I start hitting the trails.

I am assuming that question is regarding the JTS. I suppose the easiest answer is because that is what feels good and seems to give me the most power. My saddles are run pretty high on all of my bikes. These are both 54s and I often wish I had more top tube length so maybe I could benefit from going to a 56 but I am only 5'9. Maybe the other way of asking the question would be "why is the bar so low". In that case, I was on a 100 mile road ride with some pretty aggressive riders and needed all the edge I could get. I still got dropped.
