Love the Le Roi Le Veut, but hate that my size is only available in the sweet pea colour you have. And man, do those clashing colours hurt my eyes. Seriously nice though.

I really like this bike ! Wish the company was shipping to Canada for cheaper... I need both my arms and legs for riding it !

Yeah, I was lucky enough to choose between French Flag and Sweet Pea. My school team kit is mostly green though, so it was hardly a choice.

This is an older Voodoo Wazoo frame that came to me as a rusty frame only. I had it powdercoated and then took my time building it up.

Hi folks. My 2010 Kona Jake the Snake. I bought it to commute a few years back. Since then, the bike has been completely redone and looks more like something I would build.

I just got a 2012 Focus Mares with 105 (pictured on the previous page of this thread, I believe).

I love mine, its great. The fenders you have look like the road bike fenders I've used. They pretty much suck. You have plenty of room on the Mares for full fenders. I put Planet bike hybrid full fenders on mine. Works great and keeps the bike, and me, much cleaner.

11/9 Shimergo! Considering doing that for my new fendered road build.

Cool looking bike.

Thanks, man. I have used 11/9 Shimergo and it works well, but this is 10/8 and is effin' flawless; like they were made for each other. I may replace the 8s chain with a 9s, but there's really no need at this point.

I took those pics at Eva Bandman Park just two weeks after it had been owned by a bunch of Dutch and Belgians (for the most part).

Ah. I didn't squint too hard at the cogs and I'm not that familiar with the various Ergo levers yet.

I'd like to give it a shot at some point whether on this bike or another. I have an old bike running 600 with downtube shifters that would be a good candidate for 10/8.

I really like the flat black frame but the white tape has to go....along with the white seat (IMHO)

New FELT F55X cross bike. Don't race bit cross fits my commuting (greater than 60% off-road) and fun riding. Got a decent price on a 2012. Will be changing from panniers to backpack for commuting - thinking an Ortlieb pack would be good.

how are these fenders you mentioned for quickly removal and putting them back on?

After using more the bike, I'm actually found these I'm using quite convenient to be taken off when I go out for training and the weather is good... takes 10s to remove them, no tool involved, and also very easy and quick to install them back later, less than 1min, also no tools.

Since I'm using the same bike for commuting and training, this advantage kind of balances their smaller size.

Sadly, this is the closest I have to an "action" pic. Post-race repair of a chain that snapped during the race.

2013 Kona Jake with upgrades: BB7s, 105 shifters, CX-70 FD and cranks (46/36), Candy pedals. Tires are 32s. Schwalbe CX Pro on the front and Vittoria Cross XM on the rear. One of the lighter Nashbar saddles that has a cutout.

Here is how it kind of stands now, still working out a few other pieces. The fork is a Nashbar cross fork (Winwood) and will take a 47c Smart Sam without fenders, I can not get my "1.9" RK in that fork though. This is more for gravel then singletrack these days, and I just got the Cowbell 3 today (literally just finished taping it).

Makeshift parts spec
54cm Vassago Fisticuff
Hope Pro 2 hubs on Jalco X320 rims (poo rims)
Sram Apex Compact 52/34
Shimano XT Cassette 11-32
Shimano XTR m960 RD
Shimano LX fd
Time ATAC XS/Alums
King cages
CC S3 Headset
Tiagra 9 speed shifters
Nashbar Carbon Cyclocross fork
Salsa Skewers
Salsa Cowbell 3 bar
Panaracer Pasela 35c
Avid BB7_Roads

The saddle will be replaced, am looking for a Brooks B17 probably in the mandarin color hopefully.

Got a lot of gravel to cover this year and this had taken most of it on the Pasela's no less. Am looking for a nice set of clinchers for the cross season.
