Poprad question??

I have been shopping CL for a cyclocross/commuter. Lemond Poprad is looking like a possibility. However I have a size question. I know Lemonds run long on the top tube but cyclocross bikes should be a size smaller then a road bike. Any Poprad riders out there - How tall are you what size bike do you ride. And yes I know I need to try the bike myself but I need to what ads to answer. I am just 6' ride 57-58 road bike.

I'm 5'10" and I ride a 55cm 2005 Poprad. I generally ride a 56 square road bike.

I'm 5'11.5", and I ride a 55cm Poprad. Fits me perfectly.

To be more specific, I have relatively short legs and a relatively long torso (I wear 30" inseams in pants).

Lemonds run relaxed. One size down from the Trek size that fits. If you run a 58 in Trek, then it's 57 in Lemond.

I ride a 54cm in everything. My Lemond is a 53cm. Lemond as you're prolly aware run in odd #'s versus regular bikes.

That said, if you have a Gary Fisher dealer near you ride one of their new road bikes. They're the Lemond geometries rebadged. (politics over the Lemond name)

Poprad

I am 5'10" and ride a 55cm Poprad. I find it very comfortable, even more so than my 55cm Bianchi, which I have spent forever adjusting to be comfortable. It is true that Lemonds are better for those with a long torso. I wear a 42 Extra Long suit but have relatively short legs.
