cyclocross in NJ?
Newbie. I did a quick couple google searches for info on cx in nj and found a couple things -- central jersey and northwest nj. Any links for groups/teams in the northeast part? Any info is much appreciated. Wanna get into it, just not sure where to start out.

Watch the cyclocross racing subforum. Maybe someone will post there.

I'm in Jersey and got a lot of races in last year. A good amount of them were in Pennsylvania which may be out of your range, but I'd check bikereg.com for race information and as far as teams and groups go, I know there was a group last year that did practices at Rutgers and they had their registry and applications online at bikereg.

Thanks. I don't mind traveling for a race...but I'm a complete newbie and was looking for some group rides/practices in the area of northeast NJ...though if the Rutgers team (the only team I could find with a website) has practices in Highland Park/New Brunswick area I would be open to that.
GZ, if you don't mind me asking, how did you get into cyclocross? I got a road bike last year and within the past two or three months have gotten into that and I think cyclocross looks pretty neat -- but have no idea where to start -- which is why I'm looking for some guidance.
