Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Finally a good on AND off-road tyre?

The Marathon Extreme - I though I should link here, as this might be the ideal tyre for cross bikes used as "generalists", fireroaders and explorerers:

Finally a do-everything super tyre? Marathon Extreme?

Look good, but I've had decent offroad performance with regular Marathons (and the very similar Kenda Eurotrek)... they're good for anything up to med-high end mountain biking.
