Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Pressure Recommendation for Tufo tubular clincher Elite C

I managed to find some used Tufo tubular/clincher tires since it seems they are NLA. I'm looking for a good starting point pressure wise to maximize my traction without having it move around. The guy I bought them from told me his pressure range was 25-35 but he weighs about the same as one of my legs (i'm 195) so I'm thinking I'll need more pressure than he did.

Thoughts?

Depends on the course, but you can run them pretty low as you will not pinch flat them.

I might start at 40psi and work my way down
