What are you using for your brake cable hangers/straddle thing?
I am building up my cross bike and was wondering what you guys are using for your cable hangers/ straddle wire hanger thingy.
I see a lot of Avid Tri-dangles, but can't seem to find a good cheap set around. Also have seen that Salsa is making some.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance, -Pete

Avid tri-dangles suck. Tiny little allen screws that strip. They look nice but require a light touch with the allen wrench. I like my cables SECURE when I'm racing. So I just use a pair of cheap dia compe cable straddles (order from QPB at any bike shop) and make my own straddle cable. Works fine, and I can tighten the suckers down, makes me confident in the nasty muddy whoop-t- doos
