Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Single Speed Cross frames list

I'd like to get a list of different single speed cross bikes/frames that are out there for reference. If you know of any post the make and model.

This is the only one I know of off the top of my head

Frames or complete?

Surly Cross Check is great as a single speed
Specialized Tricross is available in a single
Felt makes one too
I'd dig deeper, but I have a head full of Tylenol cold/flu.

Frames or complete. I am looking to get a friend into a bike so I am looking around at options for him. I've looked at the Tricross but it seams to be mostly available on the English market. I little too much bike for my buddy too I think.

Yeah, every place I seem to find the Single Tricross online has pricing in pounds sterling. Thanks for the Bianchi Addition.

If you aren't worried about being UCI-legal, the Van Dessel Country Road Bob is an option. Somebody around here uses one for CX.

The Bianchi Roger (SS w/disc) can still be found, though no longer produced.

Fixie Inc makes an awesome CX bike called the Pureblood: can be converted between SS or geared mode.

Bianchi San Jose. Awesome singlespeed cross bike. Made of light heat-treated steel. And the celeste color is just cool!

This thread reminds me of the people that come into our shop and say "I'm looking for a bike for my buddy". Yeah sure you are. Of course they never come back with their buddy or they stop posting to the thread like this one.
