Are the dimensions of cyclocross wheels the same as road wheels? Can you put a cyclocross tire on a road wheelset?

also there are some wheels that tend to make better cross wheels than others, aka wider rims

while the rims should fit a std road bike, you will likely have to change the tire to something 28 mm or even 25 mm.

FWIW, I just used my road training wheels as CX wheels: 32h Open Pros on Ultegra hubs. Bombproof.
