Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

So cross, bourbon and barbeque - I'm happy already. (We'll have to hide the Waffle Houses to keep from offending the Belgians.)

You have to get pretty far from where the course will be to find a Waffle House(halfway across the county in any given direction)...luckily the core of the city is still (mostly) ruled by Local dining options. The Belgians will be happy that there is a beer bar with nearly 1,000 beers just a couple pedal strokes away from the new course.

I digress, but I always mistrust places that brag about the number of different kinds of anything they serve. Give me a pub with three or four good beers on tap and keep 'em fresh.

But yes, I'll have to be there for worlds. I have this feeling it will be a big ol' party, not to be missed.

I don't know - a good selection of bottled beers can be fun. Never would have had Mackeson Triple Stout otherwise. (It's a bit sweet, so not something for everyday.)

Well I am extremely excited for this. Living 30 min from Louisville its very easy for me to make it to the show. This is a great opportunity for USA to show our enthusiasm for cycling with a big turnout. I will have a 3 year old son by then too and love the idea of taking him....enen if he doesnt remember it lol.

Wait, I've actually been to a Waffle House in Louisville. Last year.
