small block 8's flat prone?
My new CX bike came with them and I got 2 flats in a short time frame of riding on a crushed limestone path where I have never flatted before in many hours of riding.
Freak occurrence or are these tires prone to flats? TIA

I was test riding a Giant TCX1 in Chicago with SB8s and got a flat. I ended up buying the bike and have put about 300 miles on it with not flats yet, but given my test ride, I am constantly worried about it.

What kind of bike is it? My 2010 Cannondale Cyclocross 5 came with SB8s. Rear flatted within 2 miles on the first ride, front flatted a couple weeks later. Both due to really cheap rim tape on the Maddux wheels that also wasn't properly positioned
