Classic road quill stems and cyclo-cross?

    Hello,
I am wondering if anyone uses standard negative angle quil stem on his/her cyclo-cross bike? I know that the negative angle crates an agressive road-bike riding position. Should this be an issue on the c-x bikes?
    Thanks

what do you think those of us who started racing cross before threadless was around did (and still do)?

My Colnago uses a standard quill style, and I use a normal -17' ITM on it. Works fine. Heck, if youw ant the bars higher you just raise the stem, simple as that.
