I have three sets of Tufo's, the T-30 clincher tubulars, the Prestige (Red, 32s) & the Elite LPS (blue 32's). I've raced on the Prestige's for the past two seasons with no complaints, now they are on the pit bike. The clincher tubbies are mainly for training & my blue Elites are on my race bike this year. Personally I wouldnt use these for just all around riding unless you've got the $$ to replace them when they wear out. They do wear pretty fast. Oldskoolboarder, tubbies are definatley faster in hard dry conditions, well, maybe not rolling resistance but in handling. Give them a try. After all that, here is my opinion on tires (at least for the NW scene). For a clincher tire in wet, Michelin Muds all the way. For a technical, rocky, thorny (sticker bushes) course, the Tufos rock since you can put the sealant in them just in case you get a thorn. For grassy type course & less rocky terrain, Challenge Grifo's all the way. They just have a different feel to them that out performs the Tufo's. Defineatley a race only tire that I keep on my nice weather wheels. Thats my two cents worth.
