I've been using the Speedmax Comp tires for dry conditions and they've been fine.

My 70 year old father is currently riding the bike my 35c Speedmax Comps ended up on. I never raced them but found them to be pretty good on hardpack and a little sketchy on wet grass. The treadwear on pavement was also pretty good.

I raced speedmax pros last year and loved 'em because they corner real well.
