Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Got my SS CX donor frame! 1978 Trek 730

Too bad I'll be waiting till next year to use it for cross. For now it'll become a SS commuter.
Check it out with 35C knobbies and caliper brakes that fit.

very nice!!! I am trying to find a craigslist score to build a cross bike for my wife... she won't let me buy her a cross bike, but she'll have a 1x9 and need some STI shifters

I'm thinking 1x9 may work for my commute with SS later.
