Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Rocky Mountain Solo CX

I'm shopping for a new bike. I believe I want a cyclocross bike I have it narrowed down to a Specialized Tricross and a Rocky Mountain Solo CX. I have seen a lot of info on the tricross but not much at all on the Rocky Mountain.

Anyone have any experience with this bike? I would be using it mostly for commuting and hopefully the odd week long tour in the summer.

I like the fact it can take front and rear racks. It seems to be a pretty versatile bike.

I appreciate your thoughts.

How did you fare?

Hi there,

I'm looking at this bike in the near future. I had thought I'd like a Fuji bike on-sale at Performance, but I'm thinking I might rather go with a 'cross bike. My intended usage is very similar to yours.

Cheers,

Daniel
