New Easton ec70x or used ec90x (or similar)?

I'm looking for a carbon fork to update my old heavy steel one. I don't have a huge budget.

I saw pricepoint has a good deal closing out the ec70x fork: Only $109

I know this is heavier than an ec90x or similar level full carbon fork.

I'm wondering whether I should just pick up an ec70x, or wait to find a lighter used fork on ebay. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

It will still be way lighter than your steel fork. That seems like a good price, I'd go for it. Even on clearance a full carbon fork will probably be over twice that.

Go with the 70, the 90 has a carbon steerer and imho carbon steerers, stems and handlebars don't have any place in weekend warrior cross. $109 is an excellent price for an ex70.
