Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Saw my first race in person Sunday....

In Milwaukee.
Wow, you guys are crazy...in a good way of course.

Very cool to watch how fast they could dismount and mount without losing stride....and the big hill they had to climb after jumping a downed log...too cool.

I raced Mens C. I'm not very good at the dismounts and I only have a mtb. The course was too flat for my tastes. Should have had us go down into the river, that would have been fun.

I suggested that river thing to the race director for next year!
