    Performance Scattante frameset Daily Deal

I'm not in the market for a new cross bike, let alone a build, but this is giving me second thoughts. I really like the look of the frame, and the price is hard to beat. Many frown on house brands, but I've ridden a few Scatts, and they are solid.

Looks like a good deal, but where's the geometry chart? That's kind off important....

I really like the frame on my X-330. I'm pretty sure the XRL frame is the same frame. It's a pretty stiff, responsive frame. I was told by Performance that my frame was made by Fuji.

A frame is hit or miss for different people, No standard preference can be determined between two different people. Go with what feels good and make sure you test ride it

I've been riding a 2010 X-330 and I really enjoy it. Knobd is correct, the frames are made by Fuji. I figured for a complete CX bike with Fuji made frame, I pretty much couldn't go wrong for $550. And for $250 that frame's a total steal. Hang whatever components you want on it and it'll be sweet.
