It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". Campy BB

I was wondering if Campy BBs hold up well for CX. from what I have heard is that the tend to wear out quicker and i was wondering if that is true.

it is. part of the problem is the square taper. i also find that the seals are not quite up to the rigours of cyclo-cross.

mmmm, yes, square tapers are still in use by MANY crossers and before anything else was around, EVERYONE used square tapers with no problems. My BB would be the least of any concerns on a cross bike, even a Campy one.
