Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

from the Nashbar customer service rep i emailed, because i saw a 15% off bikes/frame and the 20% coupon for one item

"The coupon for 20% off is not valid on bikes. Please click on the exclusion link on the coupon.

We do have a 15 price protection policy. However, it is only valid on actual merchandise pricing, not coupons or promotions.

Regards,
Kimberly

Still, $639 for a 5700-equipped bike a quite a deal. Especially if you don't live in a state where Nashbar charges tax. Unfortunately I do, which added about $45 to the price.

I bought mine a few weeks ago. $725 shipped. Rode it to work today after putting some 700x25 slicks on it. Great deal on the bike. Heavy but excellent ride quality.

I'm swapping out the 105 components to one of my road bikes and putting some old 7speed stuff on it for CX. One thing I will say is that Nashbar really cheaped out on the bar tape. Its so adhesive that it took me 30 minutes to unwrap one side and there is still a ton of residue (large chunks of foam stuck to the bar) left over that it made it extremely difficult to even the the levers off. Apart from that I'm been impressed with everything so far.
