How much would you spend on a 09 Specialized Tricross Comp?
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to get a better idea of what this bike is worth. In superb condition with barely any miles on it what would you suggest a 2009 Specialized Tricross Comp would be worth these days? I'm posting here because its a cyclocross bike, so hopefully this is the right forum. Thanks for your input.

I would say $800. I saw new 2011 on sale in the fall for less than $1500. This is two years older and it's also not the cross season

The specs on that bike are pretty nice. If it's really in near mint condition and has all the original parts, I might go as high as $1000 if it was a comfortable fit.
The price also depends heavily on your local market.
To give you a point of comparison, last winter I paid $900 for a 2008 Kona Major Jake. It had a mediocre but solid wheelset (not the Ksyriums spec'd on this model) and dimples in the top tube, but it had a Chris King headset, Ultegra shifters (scuffed but working) and 105 derailleurs and a nice AlphaQ CX20 fork. I was also buying it from a local shop which had given it a complete mechanical inspection and I expected they'd stand behind their word that the top tube dimples wouldn't be a structural problem.
