Boyd 38mm tubulars arrived! PICS! And a Vittoria XG question
My Boyd wheelset arrived today....soooooo sweet!
38mm tubular with ghosted graphics. 20/24 spoke count.
I have a set of Vittoria Cross XG tubs to go with the setup. I'm planning on using the Belgian tape method for gluing. My question is about the latex coating on the basetape. I've read that the latex layer inhibits a good bond with the glue and that you need to prep the basetape using a file or sandpaper. Anyone running these tires have experience with this process?
Thanks in advance!!
