Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

My New Cyclocross Bike

I've been shopping for new bikes for some time now but I've also been searching craigslist for a good buy. Friday afternoon I finally found a posting for a bike that I actually liked and would be the proper fit for me.

I purchased a used Focus Mares AX 2. Rather than posting a bunch of words about what it has, I just took a bunch of pictures to share.

I searched here and saw the thread you started on your Mares before I decided to buy. Thanks for posting the details on your bike, it helped me make the decision to purchase mine.
