Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Any Real Difference Between These Bikes??

Hey,
So I'm looking at getting a new bike after having been out of the sport for about 15 years. I'm wondering if there is any real difference between the 2012 and 2013 Bianchi Volpe. I'm looking at this bike for commuting during the week and then hitting some wooded trails on the weekend. I'm hoping to get into good enough shape to do a century at the end of the summer. Put them side by side and you can see the component choices .. how lazy are you?
9 vs 10 speed , the tooth count on the crankset . '10 speed' is more overgeared.

both new stock, in the shops? same size? , did you go down there and test ride them?
