Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Anyone with a 56cm Soma Double Cross want to measure a few things for me?

Hey all, been kicking around the idea of a gravel/go-anywhere rig for exploring some of the backroads around here this summer for a change of scenery. Problem is that I typically ride a fairly short top tube compared to seat tube, where as the DoubleCross has the exact opposite geometry going on. Before I give up on the frame as an option looking for some more measurement information than what I'm able to glean from the Soma website. Mainly looking for seat tube center to center, top tube slope and head tube length (I question the 135 value on the website). A good profile photo would be awesome as well, trying to determine if I can get the bars where they need to be for me considering that long top tube. Thanks in advance!

Merry Sales, in San Francisco, is the Company Behind SOMA, a big US distributing Importer ,
if no one responds as a current owner of that item, seek out the Info from The Distributor.

maybe even A Phone call?

Yeah, I emailed them, but I'm an impatient SOB, and if being an admin on a huge cycling forum can't bring you the benefits of cracking the whip (err, I mean beg for) to get someone to do some measurements, what good is it? Part of the problem is I have a hard time wrapping my head around frames with sloping top tubes, I tend to avoid them if at all possible, but in this case it's a positive, yet without being able to test ride different sizes it is making my head hurt.

What dimension you need? you can always be less cheap; Brent Steelman,
makes some nice, steel, TIG cross frames & forks, minus sloping top tube ,
not far from the Merry Sales warehouse..
