Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Trek Ion CX vs Ion CX Pro?

Due to my size I have decided on the Trek Ion CX (300 lb frame rating)

I know the differences in the bike are Bontrager Race Tubeless Ready wheels and Avid Shorty 6 brakes

With me being a big rider, would these upgrades be worth $400.00? I am not sure if the wheels are much better or not, if they are is probably worth it to me.
Would resale be better on the Pro?

I would also get the Pro a few days sooner.

Which would you suggest?
