Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Trek Crockett information?

I have a trek ion pro cx and whatcha know they come out this year with the Crockett! Bah! Love that frameset. Do you think the frameset will be lighter than the discontinued ion cx and I have concerns of toe overlap on a 52cm? My research is coming up blank on both topics. Also, how dope would that frameset be with pink tape and yellow cages/cables!?

I was looking at the Crockett as well, but as nice as the blue frame looks, I think it isn't really what I am looking for. However, as far as toe overlap goes, see http://www.cyclingnews.com/features/...-crockett-disc. Katie Compton rides a 52cm frame with 175mm cranks and "not small" feet, and reports only nicking the tire with her foot.

excellent. I run 170 cranks on a 52cm. I shouldn't have a problem then.
