Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Bianchi Axis Cyclocross bike ( all steel)

Hello guys! I finally have a cyclocross bike!! here is what happened, visited one of the LBS Saturday just to kinda look for a bike for my wife, just something that she can use around here( trying to get her into road biking). My neighbor/owner showed me this Bianchi Axis cyclocross (all steel) he gave it to me for a $100!. So came back today to buy it and while talking to one of the mechanics he gave an idea, he said just swap my parts from my road bike to the Bianchi and I will end up with a Cyclocross and my wife can use my Giant defy3 as her bike. So long story short did the swap on most of the parts except for the brakes, front derailleur, seat post ,forks,stem/handle bars. And after every thing was swapped the mechanic wanted to find out the weight so we weigh it and it was..25.4 lbs!! all steel!!I thought that was AWESOME!! Its white and pink ..yes pink but mostly white so that's ok..i think..anyway here it is.. So its has All 105 components, Mavic open pro wheelset with 105 hubs, the tires are from the bianchi..I will pick up my wife's bike tomorrow..

RBW'S jack Brown 33 wide tires , and its a decent road Brevet-tourer again.
Mudguards for commuting

Think of it as the Yellow Jersey of the Giro D Italia.. GC winners pink,

(though likely built and paint applied in Asia for the Importation by the US distributor on the West Coast. )
