Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

How much can I get for this wheel set?

I want to get rid of the wheelset that came stock on my Surly Cross Check. They are Alex DA16 rims with Shimano Deore hubs, Shimano Tiagra HG50 11-13-14-15-17-19-21-23-32t cassette and Ritchey Speed Max Comp 32mm tires. The wheels have maybe 500 miles on them and I only road the tires twice and then took then put a set of road tires on.

Any thoughts on what I could expect to get on Craigslist for them? I was thinking $120 but not sure since they are not high end components.

At 50 for the front , 70 for the rear and so 120 for the pair, is not bad..
are they still in true and the rims not worn thin on the brake track..

Used cassettes are never really worth much being pre worn..

Might include the chain, used with the cassette..
so they will stand a chance of meshing.

so throwing it in (adds shipping weight/cost) or tossing it in the recycle . ..

Thanks. The wheels are still true and pretty close to new condition as well as the cassette. I don't think it will be worth the trouble to ship them, just going to see if anyone local wants to buy them

$120 + shipping .. and the buyer can decide if it's worth it.
