Recreational Cyclocross and Gravelbiking This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like :The Dirty Kanza". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Need a little help please.

I currently have a 2012 Giant TCX 2 (aluminum frame and fork) that I ride 99% on paved roads. I'm sure that the bike is set up close to spot on but my hands seem to get a bit numb after a long ride, not from to much downward pressure but from road buzz.
Would a carbon fork help, would this fork be OK as a stop gap and would it be a good fit for my TCX?

Thanks as always,
Ray

I replaced a ALU fork on my Opus Sentiero with a CF fork & find it helps me. Sometime it helps to shake your arms/hands during longer rides.
Are you sure your fit is optimal for you?
I place very little weight on my handlebars, & usually never feel numb. Relax your arms/hands while riding. I used to death grip my bars, & this would cause numbness too.
