Brake Conversions
Hey guys, I have a Trek X0-1 Cross bike that I love. I only use this for commuting, but I was wondering, how common is it to use V-Brakes on a cyclocross bike. I've seen V-brakes that are supposed to work with road levers, and also adapters for "normal" V-brakes that would only work with MTB levers. Is there really any advantage to V's over a set of well-adjusted cantis?
Just curious.

Most of the difference can be noticed in high speeds mainly due to the length of the arms and the efficency of the cable pull. Also it has a greater modulation and a much softer feel.
