Katie Compton dropped chain 2 days in a row at Cincy3???

What is up with the Shimano drive train (Dura-Ace) that has allowed Katie Compton to drop her chain 2 days in a row at Cincy3? I wonder if Shimano would allow a hacked 1x11 setup with a bashguard or a narrow-wide ring?

What drivetrain is it?
Shimano Dura-Ace Di2

I'm thinking there's some scrambling going on when the best female CXer in the world is having that level of drivetrain issues.

IDK if KC has a sponsorship deal with Both Shimano and Trek. or if she gets raw developmennt prototypes
Or Trek just buys the components same as the production Bikes

I have never met the woman, the mechanic doing the build, or her team Manager, if she wanted to run a 1X Im sure they would build one .
(you're free to use what ever you want on Your Bike )

Chain catcher is Seen on the inside.. so Logical solution is a CF disc chainguard attached to the Outer Ring ..
simple enough with the Tech resources of Trek Corp. CNC Cut, out of pre made composite sheet.

Got any close up pictures of the exact over shift failure , ?

Saw that on BTB. Sunday I dropped my chain in a crash, seemed it took me forever to get it back on, shift and spin just took a while to work.
