Best Wheelsize for Kid Hauler
What's the consensus on wheel size and kid hauling with front or rear mounted child seat. Is a 26" wheeled bike better than 700c because the center of gravity is lower and the seat is closer to the ground? Any difference btw 29er vs 26 with a baby seat?

I don't know anything about a consensus, but I use 700c wheels and have never had an issue.

I've got both for towing a trailer. Not tried the kid-carrier as I worry about tipping and the trailer accommodates my older kid on long rides.

On yer bike
For the front seat it doesn't matter, as the mounting height is approx the same regardless of wheel size. Between 559 and 622, I've never experienced a noticeable difference for the rear. Either way it feels tippy and top heavy, and makes loading/unloading a nervy affair. I will say that dropping down to 406 provides a significant improvement in riding quality. Loading was way more reassuring too, but that might have been as much to do with the super duty kickstand support. Of course neither hold a candle to the stability of long john style bikes.
