First I would like to thank everyone who offered advice.

After reading the posts, I decited to try the 2 basic methods that everyone suggested.

I had her sit on the bike ( with the pedals on and her feet on them) while I held it with my legs and had her learn how to move and start to balance on her own. After 10 - 15 minutes I removed the pedals and had her scooter her self along holding her feet off the ground as long as she could. she got to the point where she would have to push off cuz she was going to slow. At this point I put the pedals back on and convinced her that if she pedeled that she could stay up with out puting her foot down. At this point she was riding 10 - 20 feet at a time with out puting her foot down. At this point I noticed she was having trouble when her feet were up and downon the pedals, than I noticed that she was bowing her legs out to get around her elbows and having problems getting them over the top, so I raised the seat and off she went. She needs a littile reminding to keep pedaling but as long as she keeps pedaling she goes along fantastic.

In around two hours she went from not being able to go a foot with out touching to 400-500 feet with out touching ( down the street and back ) . When I first heard the claims of learning in a few hours I was sceptical, Now I am a believer.

Again Thank you to all who offered help

Chris and Alyssa
