Help/advise needed for transportation 6 bikes by an SUV

Hi,

I have four kids and we'd like to have a bike tour on a trail about 1.5 hours away (drive) from where we live. I was looking for a bike rack but most of them are only for 4 bikes max. Does anyone know a way to carry 6 or more bikes by an SUV?

Thanks

Roof rack w/ long bars. You can fit 6 that way. Or combo of roof rack and hitch rack.

Sure...do it all the time. Two on top and four on the rack in back.
