Cannondale RoadWarrior 1000 vs. SR1000

These seem to be the same bicycle except for the handlebars, shifters, and tires.

Does anyone have anything to say about either of these bicycles? I am interested in the RoadWarrior 1000 because (A) it's cheaper and (B) I would rarely hit the drops.

The Road Warrior has a flat bar vs the drop bars, and come with pedals and without a suspension saddle. I couldn't tell you why in the world it is less expensive as otherwise the build is identical and the Campy flat bar shifters are more expensive than the normal Veloce Ergopower brifters, plus you get pedals. To be honest the drop bars even if not often used are nice for their added hand positions.

I would love to have the Road Warrior rather than my Marin but for no real reason other than I want the Campy flat bar stuff.

I will add that those wheels have a bad rap for durability...if you are buying see if you can negotiate a better set as part of the deal.
