Thought I'd share a couple of pics I took today on a ride. This shot is of a dry creek bed about 8 miles from my house. It's been dry and hot here in arkansas for the last couple of months. This creek is usually about a foot deep.
The horses were very friendly and curious about us.
Anybody else got some pics to share?

Great Pictures.
I like taking my camera on rides with me. Last week when I forgot to put it in my bag, a deer was standing off the trail close enough to get a good picture of. I am in it for the fun, and exercise, so I don’t feel bad about stopping to take a picture or two on a ride.

My wife and I are of the same thought. We are also from Ohio, like Bigmark. We routinely see plenty of deer, Great Blue Herons, and other interesting wildlife while traveling our local bike trail. Also, the foliage in the midwest is lush, and beautiful. Looking forward to the fall colors.

Thanks! I'll post some more from time to time. In the shot with the dry creek bed, you can see where the road disappears in the trees. Most of this road is under the canopy, and that particular stretch was so dark that I had to take my sunglasses off to see where I was going. It was about 15 degrees cooler under there too. The high hit 97 the day I took those, and it was 102 the day before.
