Anyone Make Their Own Trailer Hitch
We have a pretty nice jogging stroller and would like to be able to use it as a bike trailer as well. Does anyone make a universal hitch to hook it up? Or, has anyone seen plans ideas for making such a gadget?
Thanks,

NO NO NO NO!!! Don't do that. A jogging stroller is not designed to be used as a bike trailer. Just think if you rolled your bike, that stroller doesn't have a roll cage to protect your kid. It's not worth it. There is not type of attachment like that cause it's just too dangerous. I've seen someone in my neighbor hood try that, w/ the strollers front fork attached to the rear axle. No helmet on the baby. The dad was riding w/ a smile on his face. Perhaps he did not consider what would happen.
Trailers are built w/ the ability for the bike to go down but the trailer stays upright. Don't risk it. If you want a combo unit, get a Burley or Chariot trailer w/ bike and jog stroller attachments.

After I posted that, I went out to get some ideas of my own on how to attach it and once I noticed how narrow it was and how high the center of gravity was on it, I abandoned the idea.
I didnt even think about the issue of the roll bars, that is an additional reason to abandon this idea.
Thanks for your input.
