Painting a Kids Bike
Hi All! We just purchased bike for the kids, and all that was available from Specialized was a silver bike with girly paint. We want to cover this for the boy. Advice? Paint Pens? Spray Paint? Nail Polish? Clear Coating? Stickers? Any real-life experience would be much appreciated. The big thing is that we don't want to disassemble the bike and the silver part is just fine. See picture:

The outlines are a really girly purple and the bunnies are girls. We will of course change the saddle.
Thanks~!!! Pat

Hi - I have just finished painting an old bike frame. Trust me, don't do that with a new bike, unless you're willing to spend $2-300. I recommend stickers or make your own decals. I have yet to make my own decals, but have the paper ready to go. Bel. make some that may work: https://store.yahoo.com/beldecal/inkjetdecpap.html.
