Source for kids saddle, bells, etc?
I need a new saddle for my son's 16" bike, and a bell and horn for my daughters. Went to Sports Authority, Toys R Us, and a LBS. There were no saddles, and a small selection of really junky horns and bells.
Nashbar doen't seem to have a lot of kids stuff either. Do such items exist?

I had to scour 3 LBS's to find a good bell just for myself. When my 5 yr old's bell needed replacing, another one of the 3 (my 1st choice), had gotten a clue and had good bells. I would just keep poking around.
Don't know about saddles or horns. My 1st thought is salvage/2nd hand. Two of the 3 LBS's here, actually sell Giant kids' bikes, maybe they have spare saddles. Maybe if you looked at some more LBS', more things might turn up.
Bells you can't buy online, they all have blurbs saying they're the best since sliced bread, but you need to hear them. They should come w/ sound samples on the webpage, like cds at amazon...

Try https://www.niagaracycle.com/ , they might have something.
Youth or Juvenile saddles are pretty hard to find. Might look at bmx saddles or go to one of the "X"-Marts and compare their seat/saddle selections with the youth bikes they have on display to find a seat close to the same dimensions. Or if there is an automotive seat or furniture building/refurbishing shop near you, they can cut a piece of foam or use one of their scraps, shape it, glue it on, and cover the seat with whatever fabric, vinyl, or leather they have using your existing seat frame.

BMX saddles will work (you can get an idea of what is available online at Dan's Comp) but I have found the bast bang for the buck is Dirt Jump specific mountain bike saddles. Most shops that carry mountain bikes will have a few. They are small and sturdy, usually with some kevlar armoring on the corners so they outlast any kids specific seat.. I have managed to pick them up in the 20.00 range.
If you are looking at the BMX ones, do not buy the mini seat and post combo even if the post will fit. These are specifically for BMX race bikes and are not really meant to sit on, the one on my son's race bike is hard as stone.

Just curious, what brand of bell do you recommend. I carry the Incredibell XL and sell lots of them...but if there is something better, I'd like to have your opinions. Thanks

too bad it's not the girls bike that needs a saddle. I have a nice pretty pink one still in the package that you could have for shipping.
I got my bell from Bigbossman as part of a trade.

Most parents and older cyclists usually want the loudest bell they can get. The "Incredibell XL" is as good as it gets. donnamb makes a valid point about other options and sometimes the plain black look of the Incredibell XL isn't aesthetically pleasing enough for some people. Chrome, polished brass, different colors and cute designs/paint schemes on a bell may be more appealing. Some like the old school double/multiple rings instead of the single ring that characterizes most bells on the market...many feel it's a better warning to pedestrians and easier for the cyclists to push one time instead of having to use their thumbs/fingers several times for a proper warning.
Looking to buy the bicycle bell in this video:

Bikes not Bombs had kids bells for $5. I bought two Incredibells for my bikes.
