Took the 7yo....
On a 5mi expedition to the hardware store yesterday
! We rode on the sidewalk (I hate doing it, but he is still on training wheel's and just not ready for street riding) all the way there. He had a BLAST! My mom bought him a Trek Jet20 for his birthday and he has been tooling all around the neighborhood on it. He really does not need the training wheels, he's just afraid to take them off. (Shh, don't tell him, but I moved them up a little more
) He had a great time, and so did I... Now if we can just get him off of the training wheels and get his seat moved up (its down so he can get his feet on the ground) he will be FLYING in no time!
Master Guns Crittle, You out there??
"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently and die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." -Robert A. Heinlein
