Consumer rights-faulty trailer
Good morning,
I purchased a dreamer designs trailer, knowing little to none about them, it seemed fine and had a lot of nice features. All that thinking was wrong, it has not held up well at all and what's worse is it comes loose from my bicycle. I found several reviews stating the same thing, so I know it's not just me.
I bought this at my LBS a month and a half ago, and their return policy is store credit only after 7 days. I know that I have consumer rights because this is a safety issue, but does anyone have any advice for me? They don't have any other trailer that I could trade it for (just another of the same- no thanks) or I would b e willing to pay more to get a nicer trailer (burley, etc) Now I have found another trailer on CL, and I really just want to return this. I feel that I was totally ripped off, it's not safe by any means.
Thank you in advance,
Christina

I'd take it up with the manufacturer.
If they didn't respond to my concerns and I'd used a credit card to purchase, I'd take it the credit card company. They are pretty good in customer advocacy issues.
