Cuyahoga Valley Report

Youngest son and I managed to get our first Towpath ride in this evening. A little "chilly" but the trail was finally dried out enough to ride again. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY. Spotted one of the beavers near the marsh, and 40 some turtles out enjoying the sun that finally showed up around 2:30. Lots of Canadian Geese, a few mallards, didn't make it to the heron rookerie yet, but will over the weekend. Young one was so happy to be off the paved trails and back on the tow path, that was dangerously icy last time we rode, I had to share. My road miles through the winter have paid off, and the rec ride today was amazingly refreshing and recouperative after my miles Sunday & Monday!
