How can we take our 6-month baby on a chariot cougar 2?

Hi! We are planning to go on a cycling holiday next summer with our two babies and our chariot cougar 2. One of our babies will be 2 by then, and the other one just 6 months... So we are wondering how we can carry our 6.month baby: I have read about the infant sling, or a weber bowl.. Can you help us please? Cheers . Lola

Plan for frequent stops and be careful of the weather, especially heat. Rather than planning on distance you can travel, you may have to consider how many hours a day you can bike with them being so young. Whatever you can do to keep the kids comfy and happy will be the order of the day .

Chariot has a sling, the Weber is not sold stateside that I have seen, so not much info here.

Good luck, post a blog and pix of the trip!

When our daughter was a <6 months we had one of those portable baby carriers that strapped well into our Burly trailer. It provided excellent support, and worked quite well.

My kid absolutely hated the trailer at six months and would have screamed the entire time. I'd have a plan for that situation. She loves it now, but did not get to that point until she was closer to a year. I'm in a cycling club for parents and it seems that most of the babies did not start enjoying the trailer until they were quite a bit older than six months.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but it sounds like the baby has not used the trailer yet so you might not be prepared for this.

My daughter loved the trailer from virtually day 1 until she was way too big. My son, on the other hand, hated it from day one and just wanted OUT.

You never know.
