Don't know much about cruiser, can someone help me?

Hello,

I am new to this forum, but am very excited because I never knew there was a community for bike lovers.
I have been riding for about two months now and I love it!!!

Does anyone know about the cruiser brand "SixThreeZero?"
I want to get my niece a cruiser, but she wants a "cool-looking" one.
I like the SixThreeZero Skull TS and Crown's Man's Ruin.

My budget is $300. It has to be new because my sister, her mom, has major OCD and can't handle something that is used.

Thanks!

There's lot's of beach cruisers out there, if you get a chance look at your local bike shop's and see what they have in beach cruisers. A single speed is going to be for "flat" terrian only, wonder if they come in a 3 or 5 speed version. To me these bikes look like what I rode as a kid in the 60's so I don't know much about them. Still I think you'd be better off looking locally (stay away from Wal-Mart, ect. bicycles), jmho, ymmv.:)

my boyfriend got me an electra daisy for my birthday and it is the most beautiful bike i have ever seen. i get so many compliments, check it out. http://www.hackersparadise.biz/images/mbdaisy1.JPG mine is pretty big, because i'm nearly 6' myself, but i bet they would have it in a smaller size if your niece isn't huge like i am...!

Good luck!

I would be inclined to visit a bike store or two and look there. I say this because it's hard to tell how well something is built from an internet picture.

Note that your first link is "out of stock" also.

Stylistically, I don't like the cruisers where the top tube drops down- it should be continuous with the rear stays, not halfway down the seat tube.

I agree with StephenH, it's strange how they attached the cantilever portion of the frame down lower on the seat tube than where the chain stays meet. But the second one get's my nod for it's Rat Bike look and truss fork. Rat bikes are all the rage now. Electra, Nirve etc make lots of models.
