Help

I am on hybrid overload and would like to hear some reviews. I am considering the Marin Lagunitas 700, Kentfield FS, Trek 7100, 7200, 7300 and Navigator 3.0, and Giant Sedona.
I want to use my bike to go to the grocery store, bike with the kids, and ride around Angel Island.
Any advise, do you love one of these bikes?

Any of the bikes that is comfortable and will carry groceries, etc should be ok.

Personally I'd go with the Giant Sedona. Don't own one. Just prefer Giant over Marin or Trek.

I agree with this post. Any would " do the job" for you. I like Giants, too. Maybe whatever is the best price from the best local dealer.

If they are all around the same price they are all in a comparable component level. Test ride them all and buy the one you like best. The components are important. Brand preference is secondary. Pick the one you like best.

I have the Trek 7100 with over 3000 miles on it and all original components, and I have added a ton of stuff to it (bags, panniers, lights, etc).

It's a great bike, but I wish I would have stepped up to a bike with disc brakes since I do so much rain riding and regular brakes don't like the rain + all the extra weight I have added to the bike.

This site offers some options on bikes, but also lots of good stuff beyond choosing the bike. Worth checking.
