Just got my Burley trailer...and a question!
Hello,
This is my first post here, but I've been lurking on this board for about a month now. I have a 11 month old son and we just got our first bike trailer yesterday. I got a GREAT DEAL: an used Burley D'Lite for, believe it or not, $59.99!!! I am so excited, cannot wait to go bike with my son and husband. The trailer looks good, just a little dirty, and this is my question: Do any of you know where I can get a new rain/sun/wind cover for it? It came only with the screen one, not the plastic one, which I will need sonner or later. So far I found one website who sells original Burley accessories, but the "2 in 1 cover" was just as expensive as the trailer I bought(around 60 US dollars).
So if any of you have any tips on what should I do or where to find it, please reply. There must be something else out there...
Thanks,
Ana

You might buy a plastic sheet and 4 clips, and attach it to the corners of the screen.
My daughter, BTW, never wanted to ride with the screen or plastic closed, even in the rain, even at -20 C. She preferred lots of clothing.

The Burley was an expensive trailer to begin with so the parts will be expensive as well. Heck even if you spend another $60 you will only have $120 invested. You can likely recoup nearly $100 of that when you sell it if you take care of it.
